About Me

I love photographs. I love how they capture a glimpse in time, and you forever have that moment. Whether it's an inquisitive stare, a shy smile, or a deep belly laugh, I strive to capture those fleeting moments for you to treasure. I long to capture the way a child’s eye’s smile when they play peek-a-boo, or the dirty little feet after a long morning at the park. The little moments matter, because in a year that crooked smile has changed and the missing tooth has grown in. My ultimate goal is to capture natural and genuine images, the images that really show the essence of personality, beauty and style. I take pride in documenting as much of a child's personality as possible, not "canned" smiles and unnatural poses. I believe the truest expressions happen spontaneously. I like to work on your timeline, and I encourage stopping for breaks, snacks or just to regroup. As the mother of an infant and very busy toddler, I can easily empathize with the typically stressful photo-taking atmosphere, which we do our very best to avoid altogether.
